Ipres

Founded in 1968, IPRES, Apulian Institute for Economic and Social Research, is a non-profit association between public authorities that are the expression of the system of local and functional autonomies of the Puglia region. The institute aim is to ensure, through study and research, that development regional policies are defined, implemented and assessed.

The tasks of IPRES within the N.O. BARRIER Project are:

  • scientific coordination of the project
  • planning of a methodology to identify sustainable itineraries
  • planning of a methodology to identify standards for the attribution of "labels" to shops and accommodation facilities
  • directives for territories
  • participation in partnership meetings
  • participation in international meetings on project themes
  • organization of a seminar on project themes
